Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses MyTradeCircle, a trading name of NSC Pro Consultancy Ltd (company number 16275979, registered office Units 1-2 Warrior Court, 9-11 Mumby Road, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 1BS) ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. What MyTradeCircle is

MyTradeCircle lets tradespeople recommend other trades they trust, and lets customers find and contact those trades. We are a directory and introduction service. We are not a party to any work, quote or contract between a customer and a trade, and we don't supervise, employ or guarantee any trade listed.

3. Recommendations are opinions, not guarantees

A recommendation is the personal opinion of the trade who made it, based on their own experience. It is not a guarantee, endorsement or statement by MyTradeCircle about the quality, safety, pricing or reliability of any trade. Customers should make their own checks, get written quotes, and agree terms directly with the trade they choose.

4. Insurance

Trades can either upload a public liability insurance certificate or declare that they hold cover. If a certificate is uploaded, we check that it appears genuine, is in the trade's name and is in date at the time of checking. This is a check of the document, not confirmation from the insurer. A declaration is the trade's own statement and is not checked by us. We don't guarantee that any policy is valid, covers a particular job, or hasn't been cancelled. Customers should ask a trade for proof of insurance relevant to their job. Trades must only make true declarations and upload genuine certificates, and must keep their details up to date when cover is renewed or ends. False declarations may lead to removal.

5. Trade accounts

6. Making recommendations

When you recommend a trade, you confirm that:

You can recommend up to 3 businesses per trade type. When you invite a trade to claim their profile, you send the invite yourself from your own phone or email; only send it to people you know.

7. Enquiries

Customers can contact trades who have either had their insurance certificate checked or declared that they hold insurance. Enquiries go directly to the trade. Any quote, work, payment or dispute is between the customer and the trade. Trades must only use a customer's details to reply to their enquiry, and must not add them to marketing lists without their consent.

8. Things you must not do

9. Removal and suspension

Any business can ask for its listing to be removed (see our Privacy Policy). We may hide recommendations, suspend profiles or close accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe put customers at risk. Where we can, we'll explain why.

10. Our responsibility to you

We provide MyTradeCircle with reasonable care, but on an "as is" basis. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for the work, conduct, quotes or insurance of any trade, or for any loss arising from dealings between customers and trades. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version, and tell signed-up trades about significant changes by email.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
